Frequently Asked Questions

My dog is a chewer are these durable?

Our puzzles are designed to be tough, and sturdy as our cockapoo used to destroy the plastic ones on the market and chew them to pieces. Each puzzle is roughly 2kg and made with solid birch ply. Most dogs would struggle to chew the base to pieces. Each of the elements are screwed down so there are no loose parts your dog can pick up and chew ruining the game. We recommend showing your dog how to do the puzzle, this avoids them getting frustrated and chewing out of frustrations and teaches them how to do the puzzle. Our puzzles were tested by 100's of dogs at this years Dogstival and despite looking a bit well used by the end of it, they were all still fully in tact. We had puppies test them all the way up to larger breeds such as German Shepards and they certainly got well used.

Why do they connect together?

When I was buying toys for our dog we bought multiple puzzles that didn't that last seconds. We certainly spent a lot of money trying the different difficulty levels. The reason we decided to make these puzzles connect was so the game can be built up to last longer. Allowing them to be used time and time again.

Is my dog smart enough?

Don't worry if your dog isn't the smartest cookie, the longer it takes for them to work out how to do the puzzle the better. The longer your dog has to work for it the more their brain is being used. As long as your dog likes finding treats then these games are perfect for them.

Why are they so expensive?

Our puzzles are made of solid wood, handcrafted in the UK and not mass produced. Our puzzles really do last your dog will absolutely love them.

Which is the most difficult?

We haven't put a difficulty level on our puzzles as we found different breeds find each puzzle a different level of difficulty.

We often say that:

  • Spin the wheel  - Hard
  • Hide & Slide it - Medium
  • Nudge it - Easier
  • Licking Budd - Puzzle enhancer

*However this is not always the case. We recommend buying multiple puzzles to increase the difficulty level and time spent interacting with the game.
